Invited by BEFS, Dr. Albert J. Heber, professor of College of Agriculture and Biosystems Engineering, Purdue University, paid an academic visit our College. Prof. Heber is an internationally renowned expert in the field of Agricultural Engineering and Agricultural Air Quality. Long engaged in research in agricultural building ventilation, agricultural odor and greenhouse gas emission & control, Prof. Heber has led or participated in over 120 research projects with his internationally advanced research approaches and technological level. He is a well-known scholar across the globe in the field of Agricultural Air Pollution.

This is the second time that Prof. Heber lectures in original taste courses in our College. He gave lectures in the course “Environmental Biotechnology” for over 60 undergraduate students majoring in Agricultural Engineering. The course mainly involved in Agricultural Bio-environment Engineering and introduced a series of related engineering knowledge including the parameter design of temperature and humidity, principle & design of thermodynamics as well as principle & design of aero hydrologic.
