The College pays close attention to its faculty team construction. After a long period of effort, a well-structured and fully-reinforced faculty team has been preliminarily established.

Among the 148 faculty and staff members in the College, 82 are engaged in both teaching and scientific work and 98.7% full-time faculty hold Ph.D. degrees; there are 39 faculty members with senior professional titles, 39 with vice-senior professional titles, 25 postdoctoral researchers; 53 Ph.D. student supervisors and 71 master tutors. The College has built an excellent talent team led by fellows of Chinese Academy of Engineering, members of the Subject Consultative Group of State Council Academic Committee, distinguished (chair) professors of MOE “Cheung Kong Scholar” Incentive Scheme, receivers of National Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, winners of MOE Renowned Teachers Award, candidates of MOE “New Century Excellent Talent Support Program”, MOA outstanding scientific researchers, winners of Zhejiang provincial Renowned Teachers Award and ZJU Qiushi Distinguished Scholars.
