Speaker Introduction:

Naoshi Kondo, professor of KyotoUniversity, is the most renowned scientist across the globe in the field ofAgricultural Engineering. He has long engaged in research on agriculturalrobots and agricultural products’ quality testing technology. With an extremelyhigh international reputation as the “Father of Agricultural Robots in Japan”,Prof. Kondo has won multiple honors and awards in many academic societies, healso serves as President in various international academic committees. Up todate, Prof. Kondo has authored over 100 articles, all of which were publishedin TOP journals in the field of Agricultural Engineering. He also published over290 conference papers and 21 monographs and holds 18 patents. Currently, he isthe chief-editor of international academic journal “Computer and Electronics inAgriculture” (SCI). The Lab of Bio-sensing Engineering he found was internationallyrecognized as one of the highest-level institutes in this field. Based onacoustic, optical and electrical principles, the lab takes the lead in researchon the agricultural products’ quality.
