Recently, Prof. Ying Yibin received the official letter from H.C. Felix Unger, President of European Academy of Science and Arts, congratulating his election as Member of European Academy of Sciences and Arts (Technology and Environmental Science) on the annual conference, March 2^nd, 2018. The members of the Academy are organized in 8 scientific classes including Humanities, Medicine, Arts, etc. Up to date, the Academy has about 2000 members, including 31 Nobel laureates.

Prof. Ying Yibin, born in Ninghai, Zhejiang, is a Distinguished Professor of “Cheung Kong Scholar” Incentive Scheme, National Prominent Educator, one of the winners of National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars and Zhejiang Provincial Special-grade Expert. He successively serves as Executive Dean of ZJU College of Biosystems Engineering and Food Science, Deputy Director of Faculty of Agriculture, Life and Environment Sciences, Executive Dean of Chu Kochen Honors College, Executive Dean of International Campus, Assistant Principal and Vice Principal. He is currently the Principal of Zhejiang A&F University, ZJU Qiushi Distinguished Professor and academic leader of ZJU Agricultural Engineering discipline, which has been listed in the National “Double First-class” Plan and rated A+ in the Fourth National Discipline Assessment. Prof. Ying Yibin is also the second convener of the Agricultural Engineering Discipline Consultative Group of State Council Academic Committee, Vice President of Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Association and Deputy Director of Chinese Society of Agricultural Machinery. He has been invited to serve as Associate Editor or Vice Chairman of 4 SCI journals. Prof. Ying Yibin has long engaged in research on Rapid Detection Technology for the Quality & Safety of Agricultural Products and Intelligent Equipments’ Commercialization. One of his Ph.D. students has been nominated in the “National 100 Excellent Ph.D. Dissertation Award”. Since 2014, he has been listed in Elsevier “Chinese Highly Cited Researchers” in a row of 4 years. As the first completer, Prof. Ying Yibin has won 2 First Prizes for National Teaching Achievement (in 2009 and 2014) and 1 National Technological Invention Award (in 2008).
